How do I hang my Tapestry?
|
Usualy the tapestries are hung using rods,
which are inserted in a sleeve on the back
of the tapestry.

Does the Tapestry come with rods
for hanging?
|
We do not supply rods for hanging the tapestry,
these are readily available at your local
hardware store.

How much side clearance does one
need to hang the tapestry with a rod?
|
The minimum side clearance needed is about
5 mm on either side of the tapestry.
|
What if I do not like the tapestry
when it arrives?
|
If you do not like the tapestry for any reason
we are willing to exchange it.
|
What material is used in making the
tapestry?
|
We mainly use handspun mohair from Angora
goats, but on occasion we also use other
fibers to achieve specific effects and textures.
|
What is the material for the warp?
|
We use 100 % cotton for the warp.
|
How do I clean the tapestry?
|
The tapestries do not need much cleaning since they
are made from mohair fibre, which has a very
good repellant quality. Vacuuming once in a while
will suffice. If however the tapestry is dirtied,
through spillage etc. it is possible to clean by either
washing it with cold water, or sending it to a
professional Dry Cleaner.

Does the Tapestry have a backing?
|
Some of the more intricate tapestries come with a
backing, in order to hang evenly.

Can I order a tapestry in a different size?
|
You may order a specific design in a different size
and if the difference is small, there will be no
extra charge. If the new size changes the design
or the square meterage is increased the price
will increase.

Can I have the colours changed?
|
Yes you may change the colour scheme
to suit your taste.

Can I order a tapestry to be woven
using my own design?
|
Yes you can although we will not be held
responsible for any copyright infringements.

Do I have to worry about moths?
|
All our tapestries are moth-proofed.

Are your colours light-fast?
|
Yes, all our colours carry life-time warranties.
